The Venn - Event Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Payment and registration policy

• The University Leaders Forum is for senior directors with external-facing roles from across the university professional service spectrum and academic leadership from UK universities. If a participant registration does not align with the above roles the place may be subject to cancellation. 

• Any fees applicable must be paid in full at the time of registration by credit or debit card, or by providing a PO number to make payment by invoice. Payment by invoice must be received in full within 30 days of the date of the invoice or before the event starts, whichever occurs sooner.

• Attendance at the event may be refused if payment has not been received in advance.

Cancellations, refunds and change of details

• Cancellations made in writing up to one month prior to the event will be eligible for a full refund. 

• Cancellations must be made in writing to events@the-venn.co.uk. 

• Tickets cancelled less than one month before the event will not be refunded.

• The Venn will not refund tickets in the case of non-attendance for any reason, including, but not limited to, disrupted travel or personal illness.

• Participant tickets can be transferred to another appropriate colleague at any time, at no cost.

• Change of details should be emailed to events@the-venn.co.uk. 

Cancellation by The Venn

• The Venn's aim is that the event goes ahead and will only cancel under exceptional circumstances, but we reserve the right to modify or cancel the event at any time. 

• If The Venn cancels the event, it will inform delegates as soon as possible and offer a full refund of event fees where applicable.

• The Venn is unable to reimburse any accommodation or travel delegates may have arranged in relation to the event.

Event details and at the event

• The Venn reserves the right to amend event programmes, including venues and other details in advance of the event, and will communicate any changes to participants with as much notice as possible.

• Where a delegate's conduct is unacceptable in Wonkhe's reasonable opinion, Wonkhe reserves the right to request that the delegate leave the event. No refund of fees will be made.

• The Venn events may be photographed, filmed and recorded with images and video published on the The Venn website www.the-venn.co.uk, and LinkedIn. Videos and photographs are the copyright of The Venn and may be used to publicise future activities and events.

• If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let the The Venn event organisers know on the day of the event. 

• The Venn will email delegates with information about the event before and after the event has taken place via Ticket Tailor. 

By registering to attend the event and booking your place you have confirmed that you have read and understood these terms and conditions, which forms a binding agreement. The ruling law of this contract and of the relationship of the parties hereto arising out of it shall be English Law.
